1st Annual Charity Event Success!

Thanks so much to everyone who made it down to Gum Tree in Hermosa last Sunday for the charity event benefiting 1736 House.  Santa looked so sharp and there was cider flowing all day long (my personal favorite). 

Pictured left is one of my favorite groups.  I absolutely loved their choice of blue and together with their pup, it made for the perfect portrait.  Pictured to the right is the always adorable Lily, the daughter of Gum Tree owners Lori (far right) and Will Ford. They did such an amazing job making the event possible.

Thanks also go out to my husband, Scott, for making sure our kids got their moment with Santa.  Sam was less than thrilled.  And yes, that's me over there, filled with holiday cheer.  :)

We're planning on making this an annual event so if you missed it, make sure to join us next year!

Chasing Balloons at Sunset- Palos Verdes Family Photographer

So we lucked out.  The storm clouds looming over the hill managed to magically steer clear.  The wind, however, came and swooped our balloon right out of Dad's hands! 

No worries...all they needed was each other.  :)

Gum Tree Charity Event - This Sunday, December 6th!

Hi Everyone!  Just wanted to post a quick note about the charity event going on this Sunday at Gum Tree in Hermosa Beach.  Santa will be posing for photos with all your little ones (photography provided by yours truly). 

All proceeds benefit the 1736 House.

Perfect Ways to Spend Your Morning - Redondo Beach Children's Photographer

Yes, it was a great morning.  Beginning with a sweet crepe from the farmer's market, then on to Veteran's Park and the Redondo Pier.  Perfect sunshine and perfect subjects.  :)

Finding the Vacation in Vacation

Ok, so it's not as bad as it sounds.  :P  The four of us together in Hawaii is just about as good as it gets and we truly did have a blast.  However, that's not to say it wasn't hard work!  Away from our home and our normal routine, we found it extremely difficult to get into a good groove.  Diaper changes in the back of the rental car, beach, sidewalk, etc. - feedings with no highchair - two Pack n' Plays that insisted on tripping me every time I made my way to the bed.  The list goes on...

In other news, I hope you enjoy the Blog's new look!  Big thanks go to Jeff Siedlik for his amazing drawings.  From now on, the blog will feature session sneak peaks, local event updates, as well as your two favorite Presseys, Jack and Samantha.

If I had waited any longer...

...this blog post wouldn't have made any sense!  :P  Halloween is this Saturday!  Oh my!

During this busy holiday season, we managed to make it to the pumpkin patch (one I highly recommend in Woodland Hills), and pick out the perfect pumpkin.  Jack still squeals at the sight of it.  :) 

Update on Samantha:  little girl is taking dangerous attempts at standing with no hands.  Almost there!
