Its amazing how much children teach you without even saying a word. Among a multitude of life lessons, my two kids have taught me the importance of family, friends, and holding on tight to all of them.
Ingrid is my childhood friend from Texas. We were inseparable through all of middle school and into high school. And during walks we would take up and down our neighborhood streets, not once did it cross my mind that she would one day sit alongside my kids and cherish such a wonderful, yet fleeting, moment.
After nearly 8 yrs since our last visit, we started back where we left off. What fabulous and blessed lives we both lead. It was truly a day to remember.
